I arrived to join the Vajraloka team as administrator in November 2005 after 12 years working full time for the Leeds Buddhist Centre where amongst other things I had been Chairman for six years. I felt a strong attraction to move from Leeds to Vajraloka when the chance came up. Vajraloka has held a strongly mythic place in my heart as it is where, on my first longer retreat, I woke up to the possibility that I could change.

I also enjoy the countryside around here with all the walks there are. The community is friendly and supportive and it’s a good place to be to welcome many of my friends onto retreat.
